Thornveld savanna, sandy rocky area with 350-400 mm annual rainfall.

Particular features:

Holy monument places at Ozonguti and Okozonduzu, underground water resource close to ground surface in some areas of Okonodjatu pans, Ngunib omuramba. Borders commercial farms and conservancies.

Major wildlife resources:

Wild dog, kudu, warthog, ostrich, gemsbok, eland, cheetah, leopard, vultures.

Devil's Claw harvesting

Management:

Management Committee of ten men and nine women; Executive Committee of nine members; one female staff; wildlife monitoring using Event Book monitoring system.
