Elephant Human Relations Aid (EHRA) aims to reduce human elephant conflict and enable people to live safely and without fear of elephants through practical and innovative mitigation strategies.

Integrated Rural Development and Nature Conservation (IRDNC)

Providing technical support to conservancies including training in natural resources management; community capacity building; institutional and economic development; financial and logistic assistance.

Legal Assistance Centre (LAC)

Providing legal advice to conservancies on constitutions, contracts, legal conflicts and conflict resolution and advocacy on CBNRM issues.

Multi-disciplinary Research Centre and Consultancy (MRCC-UNAM)

Researching into the social effectiveness of CBNRM and conservancies in Namibia.

Omba Arts Trust (OAT)

Supporting sustainable livelihoods of Namibia's marginalised communities through the development, sales and marketing of quality crafts.

Rossing Foundation

The Rössing Foundation undertakes a broad range of activities across a wide spectrum of community development areas ranging from Agriculture, Local Authority support, Small and Medium Enterprises, Youth skill Development, Education, Small Scale mining and Community-Based Natural and Resource Management.

Save the Rhino Trust (SRT)

Implementing rhino conservation and management, training and capacity building in rhino management and responsible rhino tourism ventures.

Namibian Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS)

Working to conserve Namibia's natural environment, to promote appropriate protection, wise use of natural resources and sustainable development.

Otjozondjupa Regional Conservancy Association (ORCA)

Independent organisation comprised of registered and emerging conservancies in the Otjozondjupa region acting as a representative umbrella body.

Southern Kunene Regional Association (SKRA)

Increasing the sustainability of the conservancy programme in southern Kunene by creating a platform where members can discuss issues and share best practices.

Tourism Supporting Conservation (TOSCO)

Linking the tourism industry to local people, conservation organisations and research. Supporting conservation projects and local people who share their land with wildlife.

World Wildlife Fund in Namibia (WWF in Namibia)

Providing technical support to implementers in the fields of natural resource management, business and enterprise development, and institutional development.

Meet Gift, a dedicated general worker at Sharwimbo Camp. His name truly reflects the invaluable contribution he has made to this tranquil haven nestled between Kongola and Susiwe, just a few kilometres from the pristine beauty of the Kwando River that divides Namibia and Botswana. Gift’s journey at Sharwimbo began as a dishwasher, but over the past decade, he has evolved into much more than that.
